WOW- Women Of Wrestling "Champions Rise" 6/8/24 Results: Fab Four vs.The Beast & Island Dynasty, The Mother Truckers & Ariel Sky vs. Top Tier, Goldie Collins & Katarina Jinx vs. The Mighty Mights
WOW Superheroes results from Los Angeles, California, USA at The Belasco Theater taped and airing in television syndication on Saturday, June 8, 2024:
David McLane and Nigel Zane are the broadcast team. Lauren Hunkele is the ring announcer.
David McLane was in the ring and he didn’t waste any time bringing out the new WOW World Champion The Beast for an interview. They showed exclusive footage from last week of the now former champion Abilene Maverick needing to be helped out of the venue and back to her hotel by WOW officials after taking The Beast’s powerbomb for the finish. McLane asked The Beast who will get the first title shot. Before she could even answer him, Lana Star and her entire Fab Four faction came out and surrounded her. They demand one of them get a title match first. The Tonga Twins and Tiki Chamorro quickly came out so the heels couldn’t jump The Beast. McLane said they will all be in an 8-man tag team match as the main event this week.
WOW World Tag Team Champions The Mother Truckers (Holly Swag and Big Rig Betty) and Ariel Sky defeated Top Tier (Coach Campanelli, Kandi Krush, and Gloria Glitter) when Sky pinned Glitter after a Moonsault. After the match, the champions told Sky they didn’t think Top Tier will bother her anymore but if she ever needs their help against them again all she has to do is say, “ Honk, Honk!”
Fury (with Rebel Haze) pinned GI Jane with a roll up after Haze got up on the ring to cause a distraction.
The Mighty Mights (Sugar and Spice) defeated Goldie Collins and Katarina Jinx when Sugar pinned Jinx after some innovative offense.
WOW World Champion The Beast, The Tonga Twins (Kona and Kaoz), and Tiki Chamorro defeated The Fabulous Four (Penelope Pink, Vickie Lynn McCoy, Laurie Carlson, and Lindsey Carlson accompanied by Lana Star) when The Beast pinned McCoy after a spear.
They announced Lil J-Boogie and Stephy Slays vs. BK Rhythm and Gigi Gianni as one of the matches for next week.
