WOW Superheroes results from Los Angeles, California, USA at The Belasco Theater taped and airing in television syndication on Saturday, June 29, 2024:

David McLane and Nigel Zane are the broadcast team. Lauren Hunkele is the ring announcer.

Top Tier (Coach Campanelli, Kandi Krush, and Gloria Glitter) defeated The Dojo Defenders (Kara Kai and Tara Strike) and Sierra Breeze when Glitter pinned Breeze after the Aerobics Annihilator. After the match, Campanelli reminded everyone that they are the WOW World Trios Champions and she said they will defend against any of the other trios team. She told McLane that they will be joining him and Zane for the next match to do guest commentary.

The All American Girls (Santana Garrett and Americana) defeated Las Bandidas (Sylvia Sanchez and Angel Rose) when Garrett pinned Sanchez after a head scissors take down off of the top rope. Top Tier immediately attacked the winners after the match. Ariel Sky made the save and hit her former teammates in the head with the water bucket. Sky got on the mic and challenged Top Tier for the trios titles with Garrett and Americana. During the match, Top Tier kept asking McLane to give them actual WOW World Trios Titles belts instead of just carrying around the trophy as the champions.

The Classmaster and Samantha Smart were shown backstage “studying” for the main event title match against The Beast.

Holidead and Chantilly Chella defeated The Heavy Metal Sisters (Fury and Rebel Haze) when Chella pinned Haze after a double team finisher.

Samantha Smart turned the locker room into her “classroom” with a chalkboard as she and The Classmaster cut brief promos before the main event. They boasted how big and strong The Classmaster is. They showed The Beast responding to them from the hallway. She was ready to take The Classmaster on. This is The Beast’s first title defense of this new title run.

WOW World Champion The Beast pinned The Classmaster (with Samantha Smart) after two spears. It went a lot longer than the usual matches of The Beast and The Classmaster did prove to be tougher competition than most for the champion. Smart hit The Beast several times with the big ruler down on the floor as The Classmaster distracted the referee in the ring. The Beast tried to give The Classmaster the Beast Bomb but The Classmaster countered it with a big backdrop to get out of it. The Classmaster was able to give her chokeslam finisher to The Beast but The Beast kicked out at two. Smart pointed out to the referee that The Classmaster’s arm was under the ropes after the first spear so the referee held up the count.
